Computerized Dynamic Posturography – Diagnosis & Treatment

The ability to maintain your balance is a complex process that begins with your senses accurately judging where your body is in space, your brain to processing this information, and your muscles and joints to coordinating the correct movements. Using NeuroCom's Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP) system, the physical therapist is able to evaluate the three sensory components of balance: vision, somatosensation, and vestibular function, as well as the muscles' ability to adapt to different environments. Combined with a comprehensive evaluation and physical exam, the information generated from the CDP assessment is used to design an individualized treatment plan and exercise program that will target your specific balance impairments.
